This week was truly soul crushing as we had to come in terms with our hack and slash game concept being scrapped. Both I and Kunal we very invested and were looking forward to completing development of this game. It broke our hearts to let it go. Even after multiple iterations to make it work we were told that this game does not match the topics provided.
Through the week we made a new concept that would play with data privacy and data protection. The scope of this experience is to create awareness among the viewers. To a normal eye data cookies and privacy seems like a very small issue but the tech companies are capitalizing on this ignorance and minting money out of it.
During our feedback before the holidays I asked our instructor why she felt that the game did not match the topics provided as her response was our game was just following the trend and we need to experiment more with these topics.
